Patterns of Enterprise Application Architecture
This book is clearly one of the top rated technical books out there. By it's very nature of dealing with the higher level concepts of application architecture it's going where most books / author's don't want too.
Microsoft Visual C Sharp 2010 Step by Step
This is a great book for anyone who hasn't touched C# for a while and wants to brush up. For those of you coding daily this book will give you only a hit of the new C# 4.0 features and won't really be of benefit to read.
Real World Asp.Net Best Practices
Real World ASP .Net Best Practices is a practical book that reads from an “insiders” point of view. It consists of best practice techniques of ASP.NET’s objects (caching, DataGrids, web.config etc.) within applications.
C# Complete
This was my first book on C# and also my first Sybex "COMPLETE" series book. This initially was bought based on the price but has surprisingly come up trumps for me.
OReillys Programming ASP.NET
I'm quite biased towards the O'Reilly books and in particular the "Nutshell" Series as I'm sure many of you are and I'm quite happy to say that this ASP.NET version is no exception.
C# 2005 Recipes
The Apress 'receipe' books are a good favourite of mine, not all the code and examples are applicable to you, but the wealth of knowledge in these types of books is beyond the norm. You get a lot of good information, condensed into a few pages.
Test-Driven Development in .NET
You kinda get excited about this book, when you see names like Martin Fowler and Kent Beck quoted in the acknowledgements.
Web Analytics 2.0
A great book, very much a must read for anyone wanting to create a methodology to apply to their Web Analytics and get the most out of their website. [currently reading notes incomplete.]
